Project Story (April 2025)

In April 2025, a local construction contractor in Manila undertook a municipal road expansion and residential infrastructure project. Due to the tight construction schedule and the project’s proximity to residential areas, the client required a compact concrete batching plant with stable operation, low noise levels, and reliable continuous production capability.

After several rounds of technical discussions, the client selected the HZS50 concrete batching plant supplied by Henan Haolu Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. The plant was equipped with a JS750 twin-shaft concrete mixer, automatic weighing system, screw conveyor system, and PLC-based control cabinet, meeting the project’s demand for continuous concrete supply.

Considering the long rainy season and high humidity conditions in the Philippines, the client was particularly concerned about equipment stability under wet weather conditions. Our engineering team optimized part of the electrical system and conveyor structure for moisture resistance and assisted the client with on-site installation and commissioning.

The entire installation and trial operation process took approximately 15 days, and the plant officially entered production by the end of April 2025.

Detailed Project Outcome

1. Stable Concrete Production

After commissioning, the HZS50 plant maintained a stable production capacity of 45–50 m³/hour.

During continuous road pouring operations, the plant operated more than 9 hours per day, with peak daily output reaching nearly 420 m³.

By July 2025, cumulative concrete production had exceeded 9,500 m³, continuously supplying concrete for roads, drainage systems, and residential foundation construction.

2. Reliable Performance During Rainy Season

The Philippines experiences long periods of heavy rainfall and high humidity, which often affect construction equipment performance.

According to the client:

  • The inclined belt conveyor maintained smooth aggregate feeding;
  • The aggregate batching system operated continuously without blockage;
  • The electrical control system remained stable under humid conditions;
  • The screw conveyor maintained reliable cement transportation.

Even during periods of continuous rainfall, the batching plant maintained normal production and helped keep the construction schedule on track.

3. Improved Efficiency Through Automation

The PLC automatic control system handled:

  • Aggregate weighing
  • Cement measurement
  • Water and additive dosing
  • Production data recording

The client reported that the automated system simplified daily operation and reduced the number of operators required on-site.

Accurate automatic batching also minimized human error and improved concrete consistency throughout the project.

4. Reduced Operating & Maintenance Costs

During the project period, the plant required minimal maintenance:

  • The JS750 mixer operated steadily throughout continuous production;
  • The automatic lubrication system reduced manual maintenance workload;
  • Wear parts were easy to replace;
  • Overall downtime remained low.

The client estimated that material waste was reduced by approximately 5%, while labor costs were also significantly lowered.

Project managers stated that the stable performance of the batching plant played an important role in maintaining construction progress during the rainy season.
